Answer

The value is $\frac{100\times 101}{2} = 5050$



This is a method for typing mathematics in your blog. For inline mathematics, just type the $\LaTeX$ code between a pair of dollors ($\$$). For example for the line,

The value is $\frac{100\times 101}{2} = 5050$

we type

The value is $\$\verb|\frac{100\times 101}{2} = 5050|\$$


Moreover for display math, we use the delimiter bracket prefixed with backslash ($\verb|\[   \]|$). For example for the display math
$$1+2+\cdots+100$$

we type $\verb| \[ 1+2+\cdots+100 \] |$
